Our Beginning

trail of trees sign

I now share my pain with so many others and I am not alone. So many friends in the community began to share their personal losses with me. So many have lost family members to suicide that I had never known about. We all feel some comfort in that we are not the only one to feel this horrible pain. We are all here to support each other. The mother who comes up to me and hugs me and then whispers her child died from an overdose, another mother lost her child to cancer, another to an electrical accident when he was only five, another his daughter only a few weeks old, and all these hugs and sharing and caring led to realizing how much this trail of living memory can mean to everyone. The trail of trees has become the trail of caring and supporting each other and what better way for us all to come together to also create habitat for nature, to give back life thru our losses.
